Philly Fights Cancer’s largest fundraising event is a celebration with world-class entertainment. This year’s entertainment featured the master of cinema and stage HUGH JACKMAN, Emmy-winning comedian JOHN MULANEY and multi-platinum selling pop artist ANDY GRAMMER. Funds raised at the Philly Fights Cancer Gala support the clinical trials and translational research at the Abramson Cancer Center.

Philadelphia’s most impactful annual charity event returned to the Philadelphia Navy Yard on Saturday, October 26th. A sold-out crowd of over 2,000 grateful families, generous benefactors, faculty, staff and friends attended Philly Fights Cancer: Round 5, raising an extraordinary $13 million.

The THREE incredible acts for Philly Fights Cancer: Round 5 were Golden Globe and Tony Award Winner Hugh Jackman, Emmy-winning stand-up comedian John Mulaney, and after-party entertainment was American singer, songwriter, and record producer Andy Grammer. We laughed, celebrated, and danced the night away alongside these incredible performers.

In addition to incredible talent, this year Philly Fights Cancer was privileged to honor the Breast Cancer Clinical Investigative Team at the Abramson Cancer Center, a comprehensive team of highly-skilled breast cancer surgeons, sub-specialist medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, plastic surgeons and oncology nurse navigators. The team meets weekly to discuss each patient’s treatment, resulting in the most advanced high- tech personalized care – providing education, compassionate care and the support needed to help each patient navigate their diagnosis and treatment plans.
